Failure sucks.

Getting knocked down. Losing. Rejection. Setbacks. All of these things should be avoided in life, if possible. Yet, they’re seldom unavoidable.

What if you knew you were going to fail? What if you knew that your original plan wasn’t going to work? What if you could almost predict that at some stage of your perfect plan, you’d encounter a setback?

If you had a ‘Plan B,’ something to fall back on, something to feel confident in when the original plan doesn’t go well, would that help? Would that ease your peace of mind? Give you more confidence? Remove some pressure?

Here’s the great news . . . you do have a ‘Plan B!’

It’s you. It’s your perseverance. You can endure, not quit, not give in — no matter what gets thrown your way. Call it grit, perseverance, fortitude. Call it whatever you want, but you can move past initial failure, and keep moving towards your destination.

It’s a life strategy that’s been used for thousands of years by countless success stories. Every triumph — personal or organizational — in the history of humanity has used this tactic to achieve its goal.
